Blackjack Switch Online
Blackjack Switch is an interesting variation of blackjack from Playtech. It is a game that is offered at no other providers of online gaming software other than that of Playtech casinos online. If any person were familiar with the original game of blackjack, then it would be a breeze mastering this version of it. The object of Blackjack Switch remains the same: to get as close to 21 as possible without going over 21. But this would be done in either hand played since players participate in card trading between two hands (a known classic cheating method), in this version. However, the values of the cards in Blackjack Switch are the same as in the original blackjack game, where Aces equals 1 or 11, face cards as 10 and number cards for face value.
The same standard blackjack rules apply to Blackjack Switch, as well as the actions (e.g. hit, stand, take insurance, double and split) a player can take when it is his or her hand to play. The major difference in Blackjack Switch is that a player plays with two hands, in which the right is played first and the left is played second (in that order). Thereafter, the dealers turn is next. In Blackjack Switch, the dealer would always be required to draw one addition card when he or she has an Ace and a number card with a value of 17. The term for this is referred to as ‘soft 17’. The dealers Ace, in this case, would be counted as 11 and not 1. The switching option creates more blackjacks and results in a 1/1 pay over a 3/2 in traditional blackjack. It is important to note that one rule from the original Blackjack game does not apply. It is the one that that says a player loses only his initial bet if all three of the following applies:
- The player plays his or her hand by doubling.
- The first card of the dealer is of 10 value.
- The dealer blackjacks.
Again, this is not so in the game of Blackjack Switch. There are two versions of rules: one for Playtech and the other for Four Queens and it would do players good to read each set of rules.
There are many options accessible to players in Playtech Blackjack Switch to customize their experience. For example, players can play in full mode or windowed screen mode. The speed range of the game can be adjusted and in addition to that animations can be disabled and more. The most unique feature of this game is that players are able to play with large sized cards for those who may experience sight problems with a regular sized deck of cards.
Blackjack Switch may not offer auto play but it does offer a comprehensive document that further explains everything a player desires to know about it. And that includes, procedures of the game, payouts, and contrasting data with that of the original Blackjack game.
